How does the Club work?
The Club is a free reward programme. All you have to do is show us your Club Card while eating in one of our restaurants and you will earn 1 Dough for every HK$25 you spend (including service charge).
We’ll also give you extra Dough when:
- It’s your birthday – 25 Dough
- You visit ten times within a year – 50 Dough
- Activate your Club Card – 25 Dough
Once you’ve activated your Club Card online, you will be able to spend your Dough for menu items or other great Lifestyle Rewards.
Why join the Club?
Now you will be able to earn Dough from every delicious pizza, pasta or salad you order. If you’re going to enjoy them anyway, you may as well collect Dough to be used for the same great menu items on your next visit, or save up enough Dough to redeem for some great rewards such as trips, wine-tastings, Pizza Making Parties, etc. Plus, becoming a member of the Club is completely free.

How do I join the club?
Join the Club and activate your card here. To activate the card, please enter the 20 digit numbers found on the back of your Club card. If you’ve yet to receive your card, it will be delivered to you within 4 weeks. When you get the card, please log back in and click on Activate Card to enter the 20 digit number on the back of your Club card.
Where can I use my Club Card?
You can use your Club Card at all PizzaExpress Hong Kong locations. The Club Card is not valid at PizzaExpress restaurants in other countries. For a list of restaurants go to our Restaurants.
When can I use my Club Card?
You can use your Club Card to earn Dough anytime you dine or take-away from a participating restaurant. In order to be able to spend your Dough when dining or taking-away at our restaurants, you must activate your Club Card online. You will not be eligible to earn or spend Dough when you order PizzaExpress delivery by phone.
Is there a fee to join the Club?
No, becoming a PizzaExpress Club member is free and only takes a few minutes. Just go to Join the Club to register and have a Club Card sent to you.
Why do I need to create an account/activate my Club Card?
Once you create an account, we will send you your Club Card and you can start earning Dough. Once you activate your Club Card you will be able to spend Dough on Menu items or Lifestyle Rewards. During registration, you will be able to register your phone number to be able to earn if you forget your Club Card during a visit. You also protect your Dough balance in case of lost, stolen or destroyed cards. Finally, once you register your Club Card, you will be able to manage your Card, check your transaction history, track your rewards and get member-only news and offers.
What is Dough?
Dough is our PizzaExpress currency. Club members earn Dough when dining at any PizzaExpress Hong Kong restaurant. Members earn 1 Dough for every HK$25 spent. We give members additional Dough on their birthdays and for their tenth visit each year. 1 Dough equals HK$1 and can be spent on Dining Rewards or Lifestyle Rewards. Dough can also be purchased for HK$1 for 1 Dough.
What are Dining Rewards?
Dining Rewards include anything on our menus, including alcohol, monthly specials and sets.

How can I earn Dough?
You will earn 1 Dough for every HK$25 you spend at PizzaExpress, regardless of whether you pay using cash or PizzaExpress accepted credit Cards.
- You can earn Dough when you dine in or take-away at PizzaExpress Hong Kong restaurants.
- You will be able to earn Dough on all spending above HK$25 (excluding cash/dining vouchers, complimentary items).
- Just give our staff member your Club Card before paying your bill.
- If you forget your Club Card, you can still earn Dough by giving us your registered mobile number once you have activated your Club Card.
- We will automatically credit your account with 25 extra Dough for activating your Club Card, 25 Dough on your birthday and 50 Dough on your tenth visit each year.
- Additional Dough can be earned from different promotional periods throughout the year.
- You will be eligible to earn Dough when you book a Pizza-Making Party or Pizza Jam at one of our restaurants. Just show us your Club Card at the time of payment.
Can I still earn Dough if I forget to bring my Club Card?
Yes, we want earning Dough to be easy for you, even if you forget to bring your Club Card. Once you register your account, you can choose to register a mobile number. You can use this registered mobile number to earn Dough when you forget your Club Card once you receive and activate your Club Card. Just remember, you will still need to show us your Club Card to spend your Dough.
Can I start earning Dough with my registered phone number before I receive my Club Card in the post?
No, you won’t be able to use your registered phone number to earn Dough until you receive your Club Card in the post and activate it. Once you activate it, you can use your registered phone number to earn Dough without your Club Card. You can activate your Club Card by going here.
My friend and I both have a Club Card. Can we both earn Dough?
Yes, you both can earn Dough. Just tell the staff that you both want to earn Dough and your check will be split so that both of you can earn Dough.
How can I spend my Dough with my Club Card?
Once you receive your Club Card in the post, you must activate your Card by entering the 20-digit number found on the back of your Card here. Then you will be able to spend your Dough on menu items in the restaurants by telling our staff member that you would like to spend some Dough before you pay. Our staff member will ask you for your Club Card and may need to verify your identity with a photo ID. Just tell our staff member how much Dough you would like to spend. You can choose to spend all your Dough or only a portion of it. If necessary, you can then settle the rest of your bill using cash or a PizzaExpress accepted Credit Cards.
Why do you need to see my photo ID?
What if I want to pay for my bill partially with Dough and partially with cash, can I do that?
You can choose to pay either a partial or full amount of your bill with Dough, e.g. you can pay a HK$200 bill with 50 Dough and HK$150.
If I spend Dough on a bill, will I still earn Dough on the remaining amount that I pay for with cash or credit Card?
Yes, you will still earn Dough on the portion that you are paying for with cash or Credit Card, e.g. if you pay a HK$200 bill using 50 Dough and HK$150, you will still earn Dough for the HK$150 (i.e. 6 Dough).
Will I earn Dough on the Dough I spend?
No. You will not earn Dough on the amount of Dough you are redeeming. This means that if you are spending 100 Dough on your bill of HK$100, you will earn no Dough.
What is a registered phone number?
You can choose to register a phone number by giving us your mobile number that will be registered to your account and can be used instead of your Club Card to earn Dough in case you forget your Card at home. A code will be sent to your mobile phone via SMS that you need to input to verify your number. You can always choose to change your registered phone number by editing your account information; you will just need to verify the new number with a new code. Please note that you can only use your registered phone number to earn Dough once you receive and activate your Club Card.
Can I register a non-Hong Kong phone number?
Not at the moment. We are still working on a way for you to register foreign mobile number.
How can I check my Dough balance?
Go to Check Balance. All you will need is your Card’s 20-digit number which is found on the back of your Club Card. Alternatively, you can just log-in into your Club account to your Dough balance.
Where can I see my earning and spending history?
Go to My Account and sign in. Once you have signed in, go to My Account, select your Club Card, choose Card History from the dropdown box and click on Proceed. Here you will be able to see your Club Card history.
When will my Dough expire?
Effective November 2014, any Dough earned will expire 12 months later – at the end of the month.

How soon will I be able to spend the Dough I’ve earned from my last visit?
You can spend the Dough you earned one day after your visit.
On my bill, why does my “Givex Balance” not include the Dough I just earned on this visit?
Dough that you earn is not available for spending until the day after your visit. On your bill, your “Givex Balance” does not include the Dough you just earned because you will not be able to spend that Dough until 24 hours later. If you check your balance online 24 hours after your visit, you will see the Dough you earned the day before can now be spent (Dough you can spend will be shown under Dough available for redemption column).
The Dough I’ve earned is not showing up in My account. What should I do?
Why do you need to know my birthday?
We want to celebrate your birthday by rewarding you with Dough! We want to know your birthday to be able to give you 25 Dough on your birthday each year.
How will I receive my Birthday Dough?
You will receive your Birthday Dough on your birthday. You will be notified by email once you have received your Birthday Dough from us.
What should I do if my Club Card is lost or stolen?
If you’ve activated your Club Card online, log in and click here to report your Club Card lost or stolen. Your Dough balance will be fully protected at the time you notify us. We will freeze your remaining balance and send you a new Card for free. If you haven’t activated your Club Card yet, we will gladly send you a new Club Card but we will not be able to protect your existing Dough balance. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

How can I update my registered information?
Go to My Account, sign in and you will be able to access and edit your account information by clicking on Edit account information.
How can I remove myself from your email list?
Go to My Account, sign in and choose Edit account information. From there you will be able to adjust your email notification settings by choosing “No” to the question: “Would you like to be contacted in the future regarding gift card promotions and/or other special offers via email?”
